ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
The Rescue Boat Operator Course, leading to an MMB PBH licence, is a 5-day programme covering the full skill set required to operate a rescue boat. It covers boat assembly, navigation, rescue operations, communication, defensive and aggressive driving, and basic maintenance.

Boat Assembly
Assemble a rescue boat for operational deployment.
Navigation
Navigate a rescue boat to and from an incident location under MMB PBH operating standards.
Rescue Operations
Conduct rescue operations from a powered rescue boat.
Communication
Maintain communication throughout a rescue-boat operation.
Defensive & Aggressive Driving, and Maintenance
Apply defensive and aggressive boat-driving technique and carry out basic maintenance, in line with MMB PBH licensing requirements.
