ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
This programme introduces participants to the fundamentals of physics and electricals, welding, fibreglass repair, fabric repair and upkeep, and outboard motor theory, troubleshooting and maintenance, alongside inflatable rescue boat storage and scuba diving equipment maintenance. It equips learners with the technical skills needed to maintain and repair rescue craft and equipment.

CAPABILITY DEVELOPED THROUGH TRAINING
Apply electrical safety principles and basic electrical fault-finding
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on rescue equipment
Carry out fibreglass and fabric repair on inflatable rescue boats
Service, store and maintain IRB valves, hulls and pressure systems
Diagnose faults and perform preventive maintenance on outboard motors
Inspect, clean and maintain SCBA equipment to operational standards
