ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
The Community First Responder programme is designed for village-level PRT teams working as an initial response resource during human-wildlife conflict and animal emergency situations. The programme focuses on community engagement, communication, negotiation, mitigation, scene management and basic emergency response. It also introduces participants to animal behaviour and body language, basic first aid and CPR, safe restraining, evacuation and transportation of animals during disasters.
